May the Sanatana Dharma be preserved forever!

May the entire world be united by the bond of True Love!!

aspirations are high class

what is your practical suggestion to achieve this

what is the next step you propose to take

------other than writing one more good blog

“Naham Karta Hari Karta, Hari Karta Hi Kevalam” -------------- How would a sword know whom to kill unless the hand that is holding it does not decide ..... :)

No answer this , it's escape route

you are the master of the universe,

the hand that is holding everything,

the mind that decides all things

do not underestimate yourself

you are no less

Surrender to almighty does not mean impotency

inaction, evading responsibility, passing the buck and relaxing

Klaibyam maa

----arjun, this unmanliness does not befit your stature

what was kishan? sarathi controlled by arjun, working under his command

also

uttara kumara is the charioteer, and brihannala , a shikhandi, is the sarathi

who took the lead

is it the master or the servant

Sanathan dharm is no cowardice, it's a great responsibility, demanding every commitment to take the humanity and the universe to higher and higher levels of existence , stop not till the goal is reached, the goal the ultimate absolute level

Take the entire responsibility on your head , look not for help from outside

once you take the responsibility , the help and resources rush to you, without your search or need for asking others

You are the matha pitha bhratha bhandu mithra guru devatha the protector the savior the sustainer the provider the care taker

sanathan dharma is not just reading and writing reciting and singing the scriptures

it's the heroic living ideal for the heros

and to be realized in actual life the sum and substance of it , and thus become a light unto yourself and to all others

Sanathana dharma, if not digested with proper guidance in the light of self realization is likely to be misunderstood and takes one to a degenerate life of no action, discretion, weakness, dullness, suffering and early death , in the name of surrender

true surrender empowers one to the level of almighty himself, enables one to dynamic action, resulting in the best good to one and the universe in every stroke

he will not waste his life waiting, in wanting the superpower , to come and do what he has to , what he can do, thus making him a useless worthless guy fit for nothing , except big talk about god and greatness of his great powers

  meditation is an indoor game''

said maharishi Mahesh yogi,

in one of his jovial mood, laughed

i mused on playing games

out door games gross

indoor games finer

meditation is the finest

that's it ,

if one understands it

i elaborate still, it's joy

it's a ploy

game is a play, end product does not result in visible output,

unlike in other acts

played with partners, or sported alone

win lose no matter, but all joy , and fun

involves environ, body, mind and their coordination

but more in easiness than like in a business

1 outdoor games are gross

involve paraphernalia you know what--

ground, team, ball ,bat, net, wicket, what not

body  running, walking, talking, jumping, bumping

needing large energy pumping

distances traversed are large

--horizontal--vertical--slant--skewed

2 indoor games finer

involve far less of the features of outdoor ones

3 meditation is the finest

involve the least of even indoor ones

here ,one is the player, the partner, the spectator, the referee,

emptiness is the ground, all within,

he is active with no activity

he plays he enjoys infinity

he is the winner

mind is the apparent loser,

but it's now with bigger, it's more a gainer

hence the game is win win, none the loser

wise play outdoors, wiser play indoors

wisest play wall-less ,no doors

   Maintenans. sambhavami yuge yuge

--nature has.a maintenance schedule

in a manufacturing unit a schedule is followed listing activities for attending, daily, weekly, monthly, annual.

nature has its own designed maintenance schedule--specifying

when, where, what activity is to be done,

time units ranging from instant, micro second to centuries, millenniums

activities ranging from subtle nuclear/atomic to gross galactic levels

in live prani different degrees of repairs/healing/curing is done instant to instant continuously, but will be completed, gradually

some in minutes, hours

some in day time , some in night when all are asleep/resting

some in weeks/fortnightly

in months, in seasons, in 6 ritu,

some in year wise

in 12 years, 60 years

in multiples of 60, in 100

in multiples of 100

in yugwise, in 4

the system attains the perfection in kruth yug, with full productivity, abundance, optimum creations in harmony, no irregularities, no breakdowns

we are made to wait it cannot advance or delay in following schedule.

sambhavami yuge yuge

let us wait and pray with an understanding not trying to upset the schedule as per our urgency of needs, with a guarantee of certainty in the nature’s way of functioning

here, the factory owner , has designed the system ,,allocated the duties to the departments, that system works on its own ,owner will not interfere

however, owner has also put a few departments to carry out

R&D to improve the effectiveness of system, by developing

new ways of carrying out maintenance, faster, and more

efficiently

and so each prani is endowed with creativity to perform

better, and among all, human being has great creativity , and

can improve the system , accelerate the process of

rejuvenation and renovation,

of course with the best support of the owner

here comes the most vital role of human being in bringing

about the great transformation, by individual self

transformation, ''little drops of water'', contributing to the

forming '' mighty ocean '' of heightened collective

consciousness, and making arrival of krishna sambhava

early, than waiting and hoping

vande krishnam jagadgurum

being a jagathguru, krishna's R&D

department is the ''guru parampara'', consisting of all

traditions, past and present, old and new , all masters,

gurus, saints, as mediums of supreme, in different forms

and due to their tapasya, sathyuga is just imminent, round

the corner, no more to feel despair.

thru sadhana everything is possible, one becomes

''aghatana ghatanaa samarth,'' and can make the

'' impossible into possible ''

Music--such words as this make me sing limitless,

madhya

but we have --mandra, taara sapthak as well-what for?

and then we also exceed to athi mandra, ati thaara sapthak -----not for nothing

then we have one drone, shruthi box or thanpura ---mono tone ,as a back ground --is it monotony? Definitely not

and then we have raagas------how many?

and we have nava rasas , and ragas to convey the rightly each rasa

and moods vary seasonal
and with the movement of day into night

where is the limit for music

om the pranav naad fills the universe , unending continuum

and music makes one to dance in exhilaration,
makes one to move into melancholy tears rolling

where is it excess

if it does not do its intended purpose, by limiting itself, then where is the creativity in music where is the joy of nonchalance?

i am dwelling on the topic, -is it excess

can you put a limit?

if you stop me , you will miss me
and my music, though i continue to flow nonstop at every opportunity

so limiting is humiliating oneself, i am a bit harsh,

no limit is my theme
going to extremes is my sport

    maha vakyas…how

like ''aham brahmasmi '' say a truth that is existing and that is to be realized by the human thru sadhana

......................................this reminds me …in the first introductory lecture on the first day in the first year of engg degree course.. our engg college principal welcomed us by saying ‘’welcome engineers………..’’

hearing this ,we were thrilled for a moment that we became engineers

…………….did we leave the college?..............................

No we realized that there is a long road ahead, and we need to put in lot of hard work to realize the title ‘’engineers’’…………

……………………………………when syllabus was given , we had the glimpse of the total subjects , but yet we did not become engineers ......

... there were steps and finally we passed the 5 years exams and then we were awarded the degree certificate ..This applies similarly in spirituality .

the .4.maha vakyas

1. Prajñānam Brahman – “Consciousness is Brahman”

(from the Aitareya Upanishad of the Rig Veda)

2. Ayam ātmā Brahman – “The Self is Brahman”

(from the Mandukya Upanishad of the Atharva Veda)

3. Tat Tvam Asi – “Thou art That”

(from the Chandogya Upanishad of the Sama Veda)

4. Aham Brahmāsmi – “I am Brahman”

(from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad of the Yajur Veda)]]..............

.''.One has to be truthful about it to know on which step of the ladder you are standing on.''.....

.......since there are 4 higher levels rishi, maharishi, devarishi, brahmarishi ......common human experiences usually 3 lower states, ie sleep, dream, wake

...at each step the truth of maha vakyas will be experienced/lived accordingly differently

....fully only at brahmarishi level ................................

..........divinity blossoms as purity of the system grows,

,,, qualities of devi devathas will be owned.

..ie that is how gods invocation results .

.....this happens at devarishi level

My gurus are most ancient to most modern,

includes all ,you, your guru, every being, every thing, every phenomena in the creation, have been teaching me from anaadi

from before my birth , in this birth, upto this moment and continue to teach me beyond there after.

my heart flows out in blissful gratitude, to recall my great guru parampara starting from

narayanam pamabhavam vasistham
shakthim cha thath puthra parasharam cha
vyasam shukam gaudapadam mahantham
govinda yogeendra madasya shysyam

shrishankaracharya mathaasya padma

-----thus flows the parampara

lokaagnyana payodha paathana dhuram
sri shankaram sharmadam
brahmananda saraswatheem guruvaram
dhyaayaami jyothirmayam

to the present times brought down to the earth , like a bhageeratha , the greatest,
making possible for me to get in to my heart , the great wisdom of the great souls,
adishankara, tulasidas, rk/ vivekananda ,ramana maharishi, jk, ugk, rajaneesh, maharishi mahesh yogi, srisri ravisankar, rishi prabhakar, steves, ayn rand, shakespeare, wordsworth  milton, kabir, guru nanak, maa amruth, gurumaa amrit, geetha, bible , khuran, engg, sciences, maths, literature, vemana, bharthruhari, bhaskara, sumati, purandara dasa, tukaram, meera, theresa, my preceptor balagopal, brahma chari parthasarathi, and many more

nothing confuses me i have no confusion

i have placed every one in their places

like in chemistry periodical table, seeing all elements at a glance

and at individually in depth and in perspective of unified vision

without losing sight of the relative merits and uniqueness of each one.

my mind is rishi parishath, all rishis dialoging and refining their understanding in the presence of parabrahma the supreme moderator .

i have no questions

Must I discard my ego and abandon my individuality?

no , never

nurture your divine personality, --ego--- to infinite stature,

till you will be able to affirm triumphantly, ''i am god''

emphatically in the loudest voice

that echoes in the universe

from every dust particle

Nurture your manifested divinity---your body mind personality, --- to infinite stature, health wealth beauty youth, longevity, goodness, virtues

till you will be able to say i am the king ,

saving and protecting all beings in the universe, my kingdom ,

Never never be a weak, dull, subservient, compromising defeatist ,

foregoing basic common sense in the race of survival , growth and expansion

in the name of spirituality,

or whatever noble label

it is libel

it is liability

not viability

it's disability,

debility,

it's sin

not a win

All expanssion is life

all contraction is death-------sv

'' I will lose my individuality, my identity, my ego only after I die and not before.''

------is the key point worth knowing by all seekers, masters

who teach / learn /practice the misconcepts of ''kill ego'' type

these misconcepts ruin one's life totally, both material and spiritual in one stroke

making him to roam as vagabond, a doubting thomas,

indecisive , ineffective, dummy deaf, dumb, blind and numb

when /where powerful and wisest assertive action is the critical requirement

he waits and wastes looking for direction from above, below from left , right

when scam after scam happening right under the nose

when thieves plunder the nation he plays fiddle

and looks for kishan to come and save

he read that kishan has said he will come

yes he believes and waits to listen to his flute performance

Man can cheat whenever he wants ,or be jealous , cruel, murderer whenever he wants

man is a god's child , so he has all liberty to do anything
he has all the choices , he has the skills and abilities to do anything. god has given .
that is why
man is doing all kinds of good and bad
and reaping the good and bad results
The criminals have great intelligence , no less. like great professors of maths sciences.
he does what he wants . because he can do . he has ability
that is his choice that is his consequences
professors do not do , they can if they want , but they choose not to do
so they will not reap the consequences as criminals reap
but all are gods products , like good son/daughters or bad son/daughters to the one father
Best teaching is by living the message one wants to convey .
words are will bring more words not the desired effect
Valmiki lived showed his own lesson,
vedas were cognized by living how to cognize
they are a lesson by living
they no preacher,
preaching has no effect
million books with words have not changed behaviors,
only the lives of souls who lived their ideal has been the factor to inspire efforts for transformation
I read much much better stuff by real great saints , vivekananda , sankara, and started practices what they practiced i did not stop with read/write , yes their teaching thru living, and my doing the practice has been effective in bringing tremondous transformation in me, that is how i am ---and not thru reading books/blogs by casual scribes
i look for actions than best words, literature, poetry, even vedas.
what one has done in his life so far , to where is his trend , how far nearer he is to the goal , and what goal he is working for
what means, medium, at what rate, what the effect , visibility of performance, preferably in measurable terms
World has infinite choices. one has enough freedom to come up , nothing to feel unhappy and get depressed . it is better to assess our behavior once by the responses we receive from the world around objectively and mould ourselves in desired areas

O Wonderful O Wonderful O Wonderful.................this is how the scriptures reveal from inside .............what i scribbled innocently without bothering whether it is right or not now i find .......is in fact a mantra from the Taittriya Upanishad,

[O Wonderful O Wonderful O Wonderful
I am food, I am food, I am food
I am the food eater, I am the food eater, I am the food eater
I am the combining agent, I am the combining agent, I am the combining agent
I am the firstborn of the world order Earlier than the gods, in the centre of immortality.
Whoever gives me, he surely does save thus I who am food, eat the eater of food
I have overcome the whole world I am brilliant like the sun He who knows this, such is the secret
doctrine.

i am thrilled to find another parallel from j Krishnamurti

i quote

j Krishnamurti ..The Years of Awakening.

So far as I know, J Krishnamurti never taught the Upanishads, never gave a lecture on the Upanishads. He did not believe in scriptures or teachers, did not believe in traditions or paths. And yet while going through Mary Lutyens’s book, I was once again reminded of how amazingly close his personal experiences and teachings are to those of the Upanishad seers.

Here is one of the profound, life altering experiences from his early life described in the book. This happened in August 1923, when Krishnamurti was twenty-eight years old. He describes the experience in a letter he wrote to Mrs Annie Besant, his adopted mother, two days after the experience happened.

“Then, on the 17th August, I felt acute pain at the nape of my neck and I had to cut down my meditation to fifteen minutes. The pain instead of getting better as I had hoped grew worse. The climax was reached on the 19th. I could not think, nor was I able to do anything, and I was forced by friends here to retire to bed. Then I became almost unconscious, though I was well aware of what was happening around me. I came to myself at about noon each day. On the first day while I was in that state and more conscious of the things around me, I had the first most extraordinary experience. There was a man mending the road; that man was myself; the pickaxe he held was myself; the very stone which he was breaking up was a part of me; the tender blade of grass was my very being, and the tree beside the man was myself. I almost could feel and think like the roadmender, and I could feel the wind passing through the tree, and the little ant on the blade of grass I could feel. The birds, the dust, and the very noise were a part of me. Just then there was a car passing by at some distance; I was the driver, the engine, and the tires; as the car went further away from me, I was going away from myself. I was in everything, or rather everything was in me, inanimate and animate, the mountain, the worm, and all breathing things. “

This oneness with the universe, in which we see ourselves in all beings and all beings in ourselves, is precisely the experience of the Upanishadic seers, which they give words to in numerous Upanishads.

The sage of the Taittiriya Upanishad, for instance sings out in the moment of self-realization:

“Hāa vu! Hāa vu! Hāa vu!
Aham annam aham annam aham annam!
Aham annādo’ham annādo’ham annādah!
Aha’m ślokakrt aha’m ślokakrt aha’m ślokakrt!
Aham asmi prathamajā rtāasya!
Poorvam devebhyo’mrtasya nāabhāayī!
Yo mā dadāti sa ideva māavāh!
Aham annam aham annam adantam āadmi!
Aham viśwam bhuvanam abhyabhavāam!
Suvarnajyotīh!”

I have quoted the words of the seer in Sanskrit because of the ecstasy that pulsates in every word he utters. He is not making a statement, but singing out full throated, as the ‘āa’s appearing throughout shows. [These are the extra long vowels of Vedic Sanskrit, which does not exist in classical Sanskrit. The short vowels [hrasva] are one mātrā long, the long vowels [dīrgha] two mātrās long, and these, called plutas, three mātrās long.

Here is a translation of the seer’s song.

Hāa vu! Hāa vu! Hāa vu! [Sounds of his ecstasy] I am the food, I am the food, I am the food! I am the eater of the food, I am the eater of the food, I am the eater of the food! I am the maker of verses [poet], I am the maker of verses, I am the maker of verses! I am the first born of this world, the manifestation of truth as the formed and the formless! I existed before the gods! I am the centre of immortality! He who offers food, it is this me he protects! I am food, I am food and I am the one who eats up the eater of food! It is I that has become the entire universe! I am the golden light!

The seer of the Shwetashwatara Upanishad expresses the same idea – the only difference being that his expression is in the third person. Here it is ‘He’ the sage sees in everything, rather than ‘I’ – but for him the He and I are one and the same. Here is what he says:

“tvam strī tvam pumān asi tvam kumāra uta vā kumārī tvam jīrno dandena vañcasi tvam jāto bhavasi viśvatomukhah
nīlah patango harito lohitākshhas tadidgarbha rtavah samudrāhanādimat tvam vibhutvena vartase yato jātāni bhuvanāni viśvā”

“Thou art the woman, Thou art the man. Thou art the youth and the maiden too. Thou art the old man who totters along, leaning on the staff. Thou art born with faces turned in all directions. Thou art the dark blue butterfly, and the green parrot with red eyes. Thou art the thunder-cloud, the seasons and the oceans. Thou art without beginning, and beyond all time and space. Thou art He from whom all the worlds are born.”

The Upanishad seer might as well have sung: “I am the man, I am the woman. I am the youth and the maiden too. I am born with faces turned in all directions. I am the old man who totters along, leaning of the staff. I am the dark blue butterfly, and the green parrot with red eyes. I am the thunder-cloud, the seasons and the oceans. I am without beginning and beyond all time and space. I am He from whom all the worlds are born.’ Strangely, this sounds somehow more correct!

It is the sage of the Kaivalya Upanishad who says this:

“mayyeva sakalam jātam, mayi sarvam pratishthitam
mayi sarvam layam yāti tadbrahmādvayam asmyaham.”

“Everything is born in me, all things have their existence in me and everything merges back into me. I am that Brahman, the one without a second.”

The Kaivalya Upanishad rishi is very clear that there is only one way to attain the Vast and no other – by knowing oneself as existing in all beings and all beings as existing in oneself:

“sarvabhootastham atmanam, sarvabhootani chatmani
sampashyan brahma paramam yati nanyena hetuna.”

[I had an interesting experience while thinking about this mantra. The mantra came to my mind as I thought about such mantras in the Upanishads, but couldn’t recall from which Upanishad it is. I closed my eyes and I saw my teacher sitting majestically in our ashram temple, where he frequently taught us, sitting in the special teacher’s seat that was placed there. Tall and fair, he looked every inch a royal sage, as he always did. I heard him chanting this mantra in his deep, resonant voice, his body swinging with it, his eyes intoxicated with the power of the mantra. The words I heard were chanted in his unique accent and then suddenly I knew from which Upanishad the mantra came – Kaivalya Upanishad.]

O0O

Vagambhrini [Vak Ambhrini - Vak, the daughter of sage Ambhrina] is one of the several wisdom-intoxicated female seers [rishikas] of the Rig Veda. She too had the experience and this is how she sings about it:

Aham rudrebhir vasubhiś charāmyaham ādityair uta viśvadevaih
Aham mitrā varunobhā bibharmyaham indrāgnee aham aśvinobhā. [1]

I move with the Rudras and also with the Vasus, I wander with the Adityas and the Vishwadevas. I hold aloft both Mitra and Varuna, and also Indra and Agni and the twin Ashvins.

Aham somam āhanasam bibharmi aham tvashtāram uta pūshanam bhagam
Aham dadhāmi dravinam havishmate suprāvye yajamānāya sunvate. [2]

I uphold Soma the exuberant; I uphold Tvasta, Pushan, and Bhaga. I endow with wealth the offerer of oblation, the worshipper and the pious presser of the Soma.

Aham rāshtrī sangamanī vasūnām chikitushee prathamā yajniyānām
Tām mā devā vyadadhuh puritrā bhūristhātrām bhooryāveśayantīm. [3]

I am the ruling Queen, the amasser of treasures, full of wisdom, first of those who are worthy of worship. That me the Gods have installed in all places, with many homes for me to enter and dwell in.

Mayā so annamatti yo vipaśyati yah prāniti ya ī śrnotyuktam
Āmantavo mām ta upa kshiyanti śrudhi śruta śraddhivam te vadāmi. [4]

Through me alone all eat the food that helps them see, breathe and hear the spoken word. He is not aware of me, yet he dwells in me alone. Listen, you who know! You must trust the words I speak to you.

Ahameva svayam idam vadāmi jushtam devebhir uta mānushebhih
Yam kāmaye tam tam ugram krnomi tam brahmānam tam rshim tam sumedhām [5]

It is I who announces the tidings that the gods and men alike rejoice to hear. The man I love, I make mighty in strength. I make him a priest, a sage, or a learned scholar, as I please.

Aham rudrāya dhanurā tanomi brahmadvishe śarave hantavā u
Aham janāya samadam krnomi aham dyāvā prthivee ā viveśa. [6]

I bend the bow for Rudra that his arrow may slay the hater of the words of sacred wisdom. I rouse the people, and make them strive. I have entered the Earth and Heaven, filling everything.

Aham suve pitaram asya mūrdhan mama yonir apsu antah samudre
Tato vi tishthe bhuvanānu viśvotāmūm dyām varshmanopa sprśāmi [7]

I give birth to the creator in the heavens atop the world and my own origin is deep in the ocean, in the cosmic waters. From there I permeate all existing worlds, and even touch yonder heavens with my forehead.

Ahameva vāta iva pra vāmi ārabhamānā bhuvanāni vishvā
Paro divā para enā prthivī etavatī mahinā sam babhūva [8]

It is my breath that blows as the mighty wind, while I hold together all the worlds.
Beyond the heavens and above the earth I tower, such am I in my might and splendour.

Like the Upanishad seers, Krishnamurti too believes that Truth is a pathless land. His words while dissolving the Order of the Star, the organization that was created to make the world ready for the World Teacher [Krishnamurti] and of which he was the head, sound like they are taken straight from the Upanishads. Those words have the same quality – the same fearlessness, the same directness, the same clarity and the same lightning power of the truth.

“I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. That is my point of view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organized; nor should any organisation be formed to lead or coerce people along any particular path. If you first understand that then you will see how impossible it is to organize a belief. A belief is purely an individual matter, and you cannot and must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystallized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others.

“That is what everyone throughout the world is attempting to do. Truth is narrowed down and made a plaything for those who are weak, for those who are only momentarily discontented. Truth cannot be brought down, rather the individual must make the effort to ascend to it. You cannot bring the mountain top to the valley….

“No man from outside can make you free; nor can an organized worship, nor the immolation of yourselves for a cause, make you free; nor can forming yourselves into an organization, nor throwing yourselves into work, make you free. You use a typewriter to write letters, but you do not put it on an altar and worship it. But that is what you are doing when organizations become your chief concern….

“Again, you have the idea that only certain people hold the key to the Kingdom of Happiness. No one holds it. No one has the authority to hold that key. That key is your own self and in the development and the purification and in the incorruptibility of that self alone is the Kingdom of Eternity.”

One of my all time favourite verses in Sanskrit is the first one in the Bhagavata Mahatmya:

yam pravrajantam anupetam apetakrtyam
dvaipayano virahakātara ājuhāva
putreti tanmayatayā taravobhineduh
tam sarvabhootahrdayam munim ānatosmi

The verse describes how once Shuka, the son of sage Vyasa, was going away from him, while he was still very young, while his Upanayana was yet to be performed. Shuka was leaving his father to wander the earth as a pravrajaka – a lifelong wanderer. A tormented Vyasa calls him back with a father’s natural agony, calling out “Oh son!” And the trees and plants around answer Vyasa, for Shuka had already become one with the whole creation and was in the heart of every being.

Here is a precious parting thought from Krishnamurti: “Meditation is the flowering of goodness; it is not the cultivation of goodness.”...unquote

  Mithya

all manifest universe is mithya,

since what is seen /perceived/felt is only thru senses and mind ,

like onion is seen as just a round object,

a child cannot know what is inside it,

as he matures he finds there are many layers

, ...similarly

the manifest universe has layers, lokas, gross subtle subtlest and beyond

 ....but

the whole truth is ...apara+para,

...apara the momentary surface truth,

para the essence, the existence, eternal unchanging truth

.......hence one should not limit himself , nor confuse himself on what plane is his reference

..............laukyam erigi maatalaadavalenu

.....................the reference belongs to which plane??,

is it absolute, or devlok or bhoolok or adho lok

... the rules of the game are different in each stratum of existence

.....this is the full meaning of the word , ''laukyam'' that is , ‘’the frame of reference, the basis

men at war field ---killing, getting killed---- are bonded labor, have to obey the orders without think/question---whether police, jawan, mao gunman, terrorist bombers. these poor fellows, exploited lot --getting burnt like crackers.   both sides, watching the show and enjoying the 'fun' shamelessly./mercilessly
